A new Design Job- The Senior Prom Ticket!

We have been asked to submit designs for this year's prom.....
If you'd like to take on the job, the theme is "Old Hollywood"

and the following information needs to be visible on the ticket.


Be sure the info is readable!!!


June 1st
Time: 6-11pm
Pequot Museum At Foxwoods
$50


Do some research on what "Old Hollywood" posters and architecture might look like....

Create one Design For Each Word...

The words are: 

Loud, Quiet, Active, Stable, Camouflage, Implied, 

and white on black. 

Make each design look like what it says, using only the letters in the word!

Each design is on a letter size paper...

Use clipping masks at the edge of your design.


Post each design  and explain using at least three "reasons" why your design LOOKS like what it says.

Posting the Bag Design

Post a jpeg of your bag design as a "flat" pattern and post two to three photos of the constructed bag.

Describe how you solved the assignment, by answering these questions about your work:

1. How does the design of your bag relate to the meaning of your logo?

2. How did you use color, shapes, lines or other elements of art to get the audience's attention and lead them around the bag?

3. What was the "surprise" you added to keep your audience looking?

4. What is the best part of your bag design?
